2012 over analysis of results

Postby neil² » Tue Oct 02, 2012 12:13 pm

My annual over-analysis of the Three Peaks results is now ready. You can find it here:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/10485936/Docs%20linked%20from%20websites/3peaks2012overanalysis.xls

This time it is in Excel and it includes all kinds of fun features, including the new you are better at climbing / descending based on your percentile times on the ups and the downs. Where possible I've included the DNFs so you can find how you were doing before it went horribly wrong.

Links to the over-analysis from 2010 and 2011 can be found in this thread:

Chapeau to all who raced... and also marshalls and timekeepers who were standing on the peaks for hours in those exciting conditions.

This is absolutely fantastic. Now I've got to complete the race next year to get my analysis. I just have a feeling that instead of a "you are better at ..." column I would need a "you are less bad at ..."

Many thanks - I shall spend hours looking at this.
