Hi folks, This will take some explaining however I will try to keep it short and to the point! As the subject title states I'm after old unwanted cycling shorts, the reason...I am to take 14 young people to Manchester Velodrome at the end of April as part of a Police run youth engagement Project and for all of them it will be their first experience. To try and make it as enjoyable as possible I figured they will need padded shorts, however I haven't been able to secure funding to outfit the group (something to do with the budget cuts!!??) So I am turning to the cycling fraternity to help me out. I am a keen cyclist myself and have raced the 3 peaks twice now and hopefully I will be able to do it again this year!
So is there anyone out there that has a pair of cycling shorts crammed into the back of the wardrobe, gathering dust that could be some use to this group? You never know I could be in the company of the next Nick Craig or Rob Jebb!?
