Final List of competitors/Back up Vehicles/Parking

Postby Dalesman » Tue Sep 07, 2010 12:54 pm

The final list will be on our Race Information at the end of this week when our webmaster returns from holiday.

If possible share transport when supporting riders or cycle to Cold Cotes, Ribblehead and Horton to ease congestion on the roads.

At Helwith Bridge please do not park on the right hand side of the road, park on the left facing towards Austwick.

Hi

I understand that there are limitations on the number of cars that can travel to Ribbleshead. Will permits for support vehicles be issued on the day of the race or should I arrnage this in advance?

Thanks

At registration which will be in the marquee in the finish field, competitors will be given race number, programme and a sticker for their support vehicle windscreen. Before leaving the marquee they will be issued with a Sportident dibber to be attached to their wrist. Numbers to be on left shoulder.
There will be a field for car parking as in previous years. Instructions for support vehicles showing their route and parking places should already have been downloaded from our website before sending in their entry. These instructions along with the regulations and instructions for competitors remain on our website.
Certificates for all finishers will be available in the marquee, please collect them to save having to post them later.
Any riders retiring from the race or being stopped after 2.00pm in Horton-in-Ribblesdale must report to Race Control in the finish field and not ride in as a finisher.
