Footage from 3PX 2012

Postby chklar » Mon Oct 08, 2012 12:24 pm

As a first timer (and possibly a last timer!) the 3PX 2012 has certainly left an interesting impression. As i knew i would not be competing, rather, just taking part and hoping to complete it, I decided to pop my Gopro on my helmet and record as much of the race as possible.

But what i would love to see is some of the footage of cameras that were up on the peaks... i distinctly remember running towards an official looking cameraman, trying to be suave and cool... and falling flat on my arse as a result of the wind and mud (anyone remember those?)...

Anyway, here it is... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgJogq6hkHY&feature=plcp i hope it is not too painful viewing!

Hi guys

I was pretty near to the back... bit of a shock to the system that was. I can slow it down but it is 2 hours of footage, so I would probably need to cut some sections out... and to be honest, I didn't really want to leave anything out! Maybe i'll see if there are some more sections that i can put in at normal speed, but it takes a while post-processing everything.

Glad i brought back some good memories though!

sorry but the pressure is on,this is some of the best stuff so far ,capturing the severity of the event, not many photographers braved those conditions up there.
