Unfortunately, for the first time since 1988 I won't be on the start line this year - knee injury. Best wishes to everyone taking part on Sunday; have a safe, enjoyable (?) and successful ride. To those doing for the first time, beware of getting hooked - I entered in 1989 just so I could say I'd done it once!

You will see Richard on Sunday as he is our Chief Commissaire. He will be back riding next year in our 50th 3 Peaks when entries will open a month earlier on June 1st 2012.
