Crashes and falls

Saw one or two coming off ans pretty spectacular ones too. Had a couple of over the handlebar spills myself one of them coming off Ingleborough at high speed which hurt the old back. Surprising how a spill can dent your confidence, I went from overtaking people en-mass to being overtaken en-mass. A a regular mtb rider and a once a year X rider it surprising how you just expect the bike to take the bumps in the same way but they just dont and thats the reason for the parting with the bike I think. At 60 the falls take their toll especially on the back which is only now feeling better.
